A Space That
Breathes
The campus at Maatre was not designed to impress. It was designed to disappear into the landscape. What remains when a building does not compete with its surroundings is something rarer than luxury: belonging.

Marchula, Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve
The property sits at Marchula village within the buffer zone of Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve, Uttarakhand. Dense sal and mixed forest covers the surrounding hills. The Ramganga river flows directly in front of the property.
Wildlife presence is real and frequent: leopard, elephant, deer, and over 500 bird species call this landscape home. The land is not simply beautiful. It is genuinely wild.
Spaces
Every space on the property was designed with a single principle: do not obstruct.
